Voting is now open. This is it! This is where you, and Scots around the world, decide who should be chosen as The Greatest Scot of all time. On this page you will find the 35 strong shortlist; click on any name to read more about them and watch the special films that we've made. You can also watch the accompanying TV series, made in association with the Daily Record and Sunday Mail and Homecoming 2009, on the STV Player.
You’ll also find details of the presenters of the programmes, the panellists who chose the shortlist, behind-the-scenes footage of how they chose them, and some thoughts from them and from some famous names on who is top of their list. But the choice of who will be the Greatest Scot is now down to you.
The results will be announced, on STV and here online, on St Andrew's Day, Monday, November 30th and the winner will be commemorated in a new piece of public art.
