Stephen Jardine

Award-winning presenter Stephen Jardine is one of the most familiar faces on TV in Scotland and currently one of the hosts of STV’s daily live show, The Hour, alongside Michelle McManus.

Stephen has previously presented various programmes for STV, including magazine programme  Room At The TopDrive Time, Scotland Today, Sunday Live, Wheel Nuts, The Talent and the five thirty show. He also covered the opening of the Scottish Parliament for the station and hosted the Millennium Hogmanay Show.

He has also worked in radio and as Scotland and Europe correspondent for GMTV where he was based in Paris.

Born in Dumfries, Stephen is the son of the late Bill Jardine, a former Chairman of the town's Queen of the South football club which he still follows.

He attended University in Edinburgh and started his journalistic career as a reporter at Radio Tay, before joining Scottish Television to work on Scotland Today.

Stephen is currently one of the hosts of STV’s daily live show The Hour alongside Michelle McManus.
