You can vote for your Greatest Scot in two ways: online, on this page, or by phone. Voting opens at 9am on November 9 and closes at midnight on November 22, 2009.

To vote online: you need to be registered with mystv.tv. Select the name of the person you wish to vote for from the list below and click on the Vote Online button below the picture. A simple form will open automatically to allow you to register. (If you are already registered with mystv, you will be able to use your existing log-in details). On-line voting is free but restricted to one vote per person (by e-mail address).
To vote by telephone, select the person you wish to vote for below and dial the 09011 telephone line listed below the picture. All the telephone numbers are listed below. They will also be printed in the Daily Record from November 9 to 14 November 14 and additionally on November 21, 2009.
Calls cost 50p each from BT Landlines plus your standard network rates. Calls from other networks may be higher and calls from mobiles will be considerably more. Votes received after the closing time will not be counted and calls, if charged, will be refunded. Telephone voting is restricted to 100 votes per phone number. Votes over the maximum allowance will be discounted. Phone voters must obtain permission from the line owner before making their call.
The candidate with the highest number of votes at the end of the voting period will be the winner and will have an artwork created and presented to the nation. Full voting Terms and Conditions are available here.
The Greatest Scot vote has now closed. The results will be announced on Monday, November 30th.
