Inverary and District Pipe Band continued their incredible rise through the piping ranks yesterday at the Cowal Gathering. Led by Pipe Major Stuart Liddell, the pipe band managed to grab second place at the event – one of the ‘big five’ in the competitive pipe band world.
The band formed in 2005 and since then have become one of the most successful pipe bands in history, rising through the ranks and reaching grade one level by 2010. Yesterday’s performance at Cowal was just further proof of the band’s obvious talents.
