With thousands of spectators and hundreds of bands competing, there was plenty of reason to celebrate at the World Pipe Band Championships on Saturday.
Though the Grade 1 acts get most of the attention, there was a whole host of fantastic results for a number of bands - and you can be guaranteed many of their members will have been nursing a sore head the morning after.
While Simon Fraser took the Grade 1 crown, there was also notable triumphs in Grade 2 for Inveraray and District, in Grade 3A for Killen, in Grade 3B for Benoni MacTalla, in 4A for Letterkenny and District and 4B for Thiepval Memorial.
With the younger bands there was a great win for George Watsons College in both Juvenile and Novice Juvenile.
