Field Marshal Montgomery put in a superb medley set on their way to second place in the World Pipe Band Championships.
We caught the band just as they were tuning up and getting ready to take to the field, tense moments in which the final adjustments are made to ensure their performance is as perfect as possible.
The band is six-times winner of the coveted Worlds title, and once again was among the top contenders at Glasgow Green on Saturday.
Based in Lisburn, County Antrim, the band is led by Pipe Major Richard Parkes MBE and Leading Drummer Keith Orr and attracts its membership from around the UK and the rest of the world.
Featuring 8000 pipers and drummers from 16 nations around the globe, and from as far afield as New Zealand and Pakistan, the Worlds has become a highlight of Glasgow's cultural calendar.
The event attracted huge crowds, and this being the year of Homecoming around thousands arrived to witness the world's premier pipe band competition.
