Olympic torch: Every local authority in Scotland will be visited.
The Olympic torch will visit a total of 113 cities and towns across Scotland next summer.
The route means 95% of the UK population will be within 10 miles of the torch as it makes its way around Britain ahead of the London games, organisers say.
Every local authority in Scotland will be included in the tour, with Lerwick in Shetland the most northerly destination for the torch. It is also due to travel across Loch Ness by boat.
Street-by-street detail of the 8000-mile route will be confirmed next year.
