Calling all fashionistas: StyleLab is seeking two "real women" models for its next event
Popular fashion and beauty event StyleLab returns to Glasgow next week, and this time organisers are on the hunt for two “real women” who are willing to go on stage as models, during the exclusive event.
If you’ve always fancied being in a fashion show, this could be your chance.
The lucky ladies who are selected to take part in the event, which is being held in the private members club 29, will be whisked to the venue on Wednesday evening (December 7) where they will take centre-stage before undergoing a glamorous transformation.
Everyone who goes along will be able to pick up fashion tips from the masterclass held by Topshop personal shopper Laura Davidson, as well as get makeup advice courtesy of demonstrations and beauty treatments from Benefit Cosmetics.
Michelle Mooney, sales and events manager of 29, said: “StyleLab promises to be a lavish event with exciting trends and the very best in high-street fashion and beauty advice on offer. We want real women to be a part of the show; after all it is real women who will be there on the night.
“This is a great chance to be pampered by Benefit Cosmetics and to feel like a model for the night. We are looking forward to receiving the entries and to see what fabulous talent Glasgow has to offer.”
Guests who go along will be able to enjoy a complimentary 29 cocktail and nibble delicious canapés while enjoying music from DJ Josie Smith. They will also get a goodie bag packed with stylish treats worth over £30.
“Our first StyleLab event back in July was an explosion of fashion, glamour, top beauty brands and entertainment – and it was such a success we knew we had to bring it back,” Michelle said.
“It’s the must do date in the festive diary of any fashionista, and the perfect excuse to get glammed up with the girls to enjoy cocktails, pick up the season’s hottest style tips and shop until you drop all under the one roof.”
