Hundreds of people lined the streets to watch three camels and 1000 children parade through an Aberdeenshire town.
The animals were the star attraction of the open-air nativity held in Ellon on Monday morning.
The camels are the star attraction of the nativity performance featuring children from Auchterellon, Ellon and Meiklemill primaries and Ellon Academy.
Around 1000 pupils paraded behind the camels from the Victoria Hall towards the Market Street car park before the performance began.
Sourced from a specialist private company, they were not ridden but were walked through the town accompanied by handlers.
Local councillor Alisan Norrie, said: "I am sure the event will be remembered for years to come by the pupils taking part and the wider Ellon community."
